Heavy duty interlocking rubber gym mat ideal for sports and leisure centres to absorb both impacts and noise. This centre tile is designed to be used in combination with edge and corner pieces. Sold individually. This heavy duty rubber matting is ideal as protective flooring for gyms, weight rooms and ice-rinks as well as for general leisure applications. It is designed to absorb the impact of heavy equipment, such as free weights, and help reduce noise levels. It is made from non-porous rubber that prevents sweat or other liquids penetrating into the mat and has a slightly textured surface to provide you with comfort and grip underfoot. Resistant to most mild chemicals and detergents. Suitable from -20° to +160°C. Create the perfect gym mat by combining the interlocking centre, edge and corner pieces of the SPORT TILE mat to best suit your needs. The mat's modular jigsaw design makes it easy to configure the size and shape of mat that you want: use it to cover a large floor area or to create a small mat under a specific piece of equipment. The loose lay tiles can be easily moved and/or replaced as needed. Finish your matting by adding straight and corner edging tiles, which come with bevelled outer edges to prevent tripping (sold separately). This centre piece is designed to fit flush to other tiles on all four sides. The minimum tiles required to create a full mat would be four corner tiles.
